A Creative Haven for a Chef and a Writer

The ground floor of this duplex, featuring soaring double-height windows, has been transformed into a warm, inviting sanctuary. The use of warm materials creates a cozy atmosphere perfect for both entertaining and relaxing. Central to the design is an oak-paneled room that houses a professional kitchen, seamlessly integrating to blend functionality with comfort and aesthetics. A hyper-functional butler’s pantry, adjacent to the main space, discreetly contains the chef’s technical components while refrigerators, freezers and storage are stealthly concealed behind the oak paneling in the main room. A newly designed open stair leads down to the more serene private spaces on the lower level. The bedroom opens to a shallow garden, providing natural light, privacy, and a magical retreat from the city beyond.
