A Historic Townhouse Total Transformation

Nestled in a row of charming townhouses along 11th Street, this residence was in dire need of a complete overhaul. This gut renovation allowed us the freedom to create a new stair hall rising from the bottom to the top while flooding the home with natural light from the skylight installed above.

Unique casings frame the windows and doors, while paneled walls provide the perfect backdrop for an impressive art collection, including works by Andy Warhol, Christopher Wool, and Glenn Ligon. The master suite upstairs was fully appointed, featuring a “runway” corridor lined with his-and-hers closets leading to a marble-clad bath.
